CES Celebrates Dr. Seuss Week

During the week of February 27th through March 3rd Chatham Elementary celebrated Reading each day. On Tuesday students showed off their reading spirit by wearing crazy hats and funny socks.

The fun continues at Chatham Elementary School as students celebrate reading during Dr. Seuss Week. On Wednesday, March 1, 2023, students arrived for school dressed as doctors, nurses, cheerleaders, superheroes, nail artists, teachers, scientists, gamers, hunters, national park wardens, baseball players and more to share the places in life they want to go.

Chatham Elementary School students, faculty and staff dress "Seuss Style" on Thursday, March 2, 2023 as part of a week long celebration of reading in honor of Dr. Seuss’s Birthday. Theodor Geisel, better known to the world as Dr. Seuss, the author and illustrator of such children's books as “The Cat in the Hat” and “Green Eggs and Ham,” was born in Springfield, Massachusetts on March 2, 1904. He would be 119 years old today.
